Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! We certainly have a lot to be grateful for including the knowledge of a loving, living Savior whose infinite atonement teaches us so much about love and sacrifice. We so appreciate all of you who are displaying your love and willingness to sacrifice through your fasting, prayers, and comments. Every day, someone reads to Brandon the names of people who are fasting as well as any comments that have been posted. It truly gives him, and the rest of us, a boost to know that so many people are in his cheering section.

Today is Day 3 of his chemo treatment. So far so good. He seems to be moving a little bit easier. With his back brace and a walker, he walked out into the hospital hallway and back today. (A little bit further than before!) The main effects of the chemo won't really be manifest for a few more days, but everyone is in good spirits and hopeful that the cancer cells are being killed off. He didn't need any additional oxygen today, so that means his lungs are nice and healthy. His body seems to be functioning more normally now than when he was admitted to the hospital just over a week ago. His coloring is looking good, and he continues to have a determination and drive to beat this.

Once again, we cannot thank you enough for all the support we are receving at this time. We know that your petitions to the Lord are being heard as we recognize small miracles each day. Please continue to check in and sign up to fast and pray. We feel your strength and know that we are not alone in this journey.

Since a little bit of laughter is good for all of us,
we thought everyone would appreciate this little comic on Easter!

Hey Brandon! Just wanted to let you know how much you're in our thoughts and prayers. It's cute to hear Jackson and Sydney saying "bless Brandon that he will get better" because they hear us say it. We love you and miss you! I think someone needs to post the video of you River Dancing at school on here. (I know there are several people looking at this blog who don't know you that well) That was priceless! :) xoxo

Hey Brandon, this is Marsha McBride. May the Lord bless you. I have such great memories of you. I never really got to hang out much with you in class but when I was there with Tafiti, we had a blast. Hang in there. Ahh, such good learning experiences we get in this life. I have been trying to contact Tafiti, she just returned from Austrailia and sends her love. She will be up to see you soon. Peace yall.

Some of the best were of you, me and travis j in seventh grade. i still remember you use to do around 200 sit ups a night, i thought you were insane. i always have admired how hard you work and am grateful to say i know you. Keep up the fight, we're praying for you and your family.

Brandon!
I have been reading this blog for a few days now, after I saw your mom in the hallway at the hospital. I grew up on the same street where your Grandma Gray lives. In fact, Your mom and your Aunt Jan brought me and my sister and brother back Micky Mouse ears when they went to Disneyland! :) Silly thing to remember, but it makes me smile! I just wanted to let you know that you are in all of my families thoughts, hearts and prayers for you and your family! Sounds like you are a strong, spiritual person and you obviously are not lacking in love or support from all your freinds and family! AWESOME! If you or anyone needs anything during your stay in the hospital, please feel free to call me :) I am just down in the pharmacy I can help out in any way I am needed :)
Keep fighting strong!!!
